I have extensive experience in the interior design field starting in the contract furniture business, working with architects, teaching at the college level and as an independent designer. Let me help you create the space of your dreams.

It would be an honor to let me help you achieve your goal.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. After working for years in medical / pharmaceutical sales, I made a career change thirteen years ago and decided to stay home with my three children. With a passion for interior design and having renovated many homes throughout the years, I went back to school and earned an Associate Degree in Interior Design from Milwaukee Area Technical College. I joined Sturgeon Interiors in 2011. It is so exciting to help my clients achieve a home they love, by mixing new elements with existing pieces to transform their living spaces into something fresh and new.
One of my favorite quotes is from William Morris: “Have nothing in your house you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
After many years working outside of the field of design, but having a love for Interior Design and Architecture, I returned to the classroom to pursue an Interior Design degree. While studying, I worked with others to design spaces for the Breast Cancer Showhouses in the Milwaukee area. I consider it a privilege to work in such beautiful homes with other design professionals.
Being a practical, organized person who appreciates beautiful things, I’d like to share my favorite quote by William Morris: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.” This quote perfectly describes my vision for a well designed home.
I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, travel, photography, reading and handiwork.

“We shape our dwellings and afterwards our dwellings shape us.” This Winston Churchill quotation reflects my goal in design. The environment created for your surroundings impacts how you feel and interact. My challenge is to interpret and define client’s needs and preferences, while assisting them in making the best choice for their situation. This often includes pieces that clients own and want to incorporate into a new location or need updating. With a strong emphasis on customer service and integrity, I build lasting relationships with clients. I bring twenty years of experience in design and home furnishings at Peabody Interiors, Paul Weise Furniture, and Sturgeon Interiors, Ltd.
I provide clerical support for the designers at Sturgeon Interiors. Working with a great team of talented professionals has been both a privilege and a pleasure. My background includes both office administration and interior design.
